The clinic will operate from Monday to Saturday and will be managed by the hospital’s Internal Medicine team. It is designed to bring consultation, diagnostic testing, pharmacy support, observation and further medical care together at one location.
The facility will focus on patients with conditions including dengue, malaria, chikungunya, typhoid and influenza. It will also assess patients experiencing fever of unknown origin, particularly those who may face higher risks because of underlying health conditions or weakened immunity.
According to the hospital, the clinic is intended to make it easier for patients with fever-related symptoms to receive timely medical evaluation. Early assessment can help doctors identify patients who require additional investigations, observation or hospitalisation.
The facility also has arrangements for escalation to emergency care and admission when required. Structured follow-up is another component of the service.
